On September 14th this year President of Huta Stalowa Wola SA Bernard Cichocki resigned from the position of the President of the Management Board of HSW S.A. In connection with this, Mr. Bernard Cichocki from September 30th this year finishes his work at HSW S.A.
Bernard Cichocki was appointed the President of the Management Board of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. on 15th of July 2016. On December 14th, 2016, he signed one of the largest contracts in the history of the Polish defense industry for deliveries by HSW S.A. division fire modules worth about PLN 4.5 billion. In 2017, HSW S.A. earned record revenues of PLN 570 million and PLN 14 million. In 8 months of 2018, the company generated a net profit higher than planned for the entire year 2018 and by 3 million bigger than in 2017.
In the last several months HSW SA has carried out over 50 million investments in the company’s infrastructure. A new hall with an area of 3.5 thousand square meters has been built and is housing a modern automated line of welding apparatus. The investments are to accelerate and improve the efficiency of chassis production for the cannon-howitzers Krab, and in the near future they will enable the construction of bodies for other HSW products, including the new NBPWP Borsuk.
