The Supervisory Board of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. after conducting the qualification procedure, on 15 February 2019 appointed Jan Szwedo as a Member of the Management Board, the Operational Director
for the joint 10th term of office of the Management Board.
The new Member of the Board since 2007 is professionally associated with Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. He started his professional career as a constructor, then Deputy Head of the Construction Office. In 2015, he became the Deputy Production Chief for Assembly, and in 2017 got the position of Technical Director of HSW S.A.
Jan Szwedo is a graduate engineer of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology. He also completed a two-year Pedagogical Study at the Rzeszów University of Technology and post-graduate studies in Audit and Energy Certification at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Architecture at the Rzeszów University of Technology.
Currently, he is a graduate of the Mechanical Faculty of the Cracow University of Technology and the Polish-American Business School – Executive Master of Business Administration Program.
As an engineer, he was responsible for the implementation and introduction to the Polish Armed Forces, ie 120 mm self-propelled mortar RAK and 155 mm self-propelled howitzer KRAB. As a manager, he actively participated in the reorganization of the Production and Assembly Department. He participated in the construction of the company’s technological and development potential.
