Following the completion of the recruitment process, the Supervisory Board of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. has appointed Mr. Grzegorz Szydło as a Member of the Management Board of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A., effective 3 August 2026.
Grzegorz Szydło is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in the defence industry. Throughout his career, he has specialized in commercial management, business development, and the delivery of strategic programmes supporting national security and defence.
He brings together technical, commercial, and leadership expertise gained across every stage of an industrial company’s operations—from product development and the implementation of advanced technologies, through organizational and business process management, to negotiating strategic contracts and developing international partnerships.
Over the years, he has been responsible for managing organizational units and coordinated key business initiatives as well as projects of strategic importance to the Polish Armed Forces. His expertise includes business process optimization, effective resource management, and fostering close cooperation between engineering, production, logistics, and commercial functions.
He has played a leading role in expanding Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.’s commercial activities and in negotiating strategic contracts that form the backbone of the Company’s operations and represent its primary source of revenue. His portfolio includes major modernization programmes for the Polish Armed Forces as well as international export projects.
Mr. Szydło has extensive experience in building long-term relationships with business and institutional partners in Poland and abroad. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with public administration, the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), the Polish Armed Forces, and numerous international industrial partners.
He currently serves as President of the Management Board of PGZ Serwis Orzeł in Ukraine, where he is responsible for strengthening cooperation with the Ukrainian defence industry and supporting the international activities of the PGZ Group.
His management approach focuses on creating long-term value through the development of people and competencies, continuous improvement of business processes, strong strategic partnerships, and enhancing the Company’s competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
